Yeah man, that story and his "glass-hearted quit job" last night make him look like a real ***** atsch Props to Barker. He stepped up and took a fight no one would, did better than anyone thought he would, and deserves credit. Instead idiots would rather him be a quitter and a *****. I guess those who've accomplished nothing should devalue others accomplishments to make themselves feel better. :good
Pretty much a slam dunk but the people that have backed themselves into the corner will never admit to it. Thanks for the link. :good
The **** that kills me is that ppl say Sergio looked vulnerable blah blah...first the kid he fought didn't know how to lose and pretty sure he stepped up all his training regiments...he was 8yrs younger with an amateur background as well...he is a natural middleweight so I expected a gd fight...dzinziruk hit Sergio with shots too nut that is sergios plan because he opens u up....the few punches that landed b4 the ko punch were the ones that hurt barker bad...a right hook to the temple messed his equalibrium up b4 the ko punch...Martinez is like PAC smaller fighters doing incredible **** against buggers fighters
Andy lee would get blown up messing with Martinez ...he fought Brian Vera for gods sake...all the props he's getting for fighting a blown up jr middleweight is crazy and a limited one at that...he was getting the dust beaten off of him by Craig mac b4 he landed that lucky shot...
I agree to an extent that a prize fighter is required to take damage and continue on as part of the profession, but it looked to me like Barker completely lost his equilibrium. He was wobbling about like a jelly!
i called that **** out as soon as it happened http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?p=10856722#post10856722 funny how many people started talking crap ... look at the post after and before mine
your an idiot... go to any gym and tell a boxer to punch your ear with enough force that the air burst your ear drum ohh btw the ear is the source of human equillibrium
It was actually 90 according to the graphic they showed. I can't remember seeing that many punches landed on one part of the body with that same graphic before. Guard or no guard, that's a lot of times chipping away at one area.
Exactly. I have seen guys fight with both eyes swollen near shut and went on to finish. But I have seen get their jaws broken and go on to win fights. But on the other hand I have seen guys get tapped in the temple and lose all sense and sensibilities... it all depends on where is most sensitive to you! :hi:
