Congratulations to Liam on a magnificent win against Paul, it was pleaure being involved in such a great fight with two class guys.
Great credit must be given to Liam for the way he came back from his knockdown,he showed guts and determination behond the call. I must admit i thought we had it and on another day the ref would have stopped liam.
Liam and Paul will fight again and if its half has good were i for another great fight.
So well done Liam and Graham all the best on your win.BN

Why is he a ****? because he hasnt lived up to your expectations, how about he just might have been beaten by the better man? surely theres no shame in that,Walsh is starting to look really good with a good chin and heart.

Don't really see what the controversy about the ref was. It wasn't a long count by any means, even if you do it from when he was first down, but regardless you have to get into the neutral corner. It's a non-issue.

It wasn't a long count but "you" don't have to get to a neutral corner before the count begins. The ref is supposed to get "you" to the corner and then pick the count up from the timekeeper, not start from zero.

Fair enough, yeah. But even so, it wasn't a long count is the crux of the issue

Think Bunce demonstrated that fairly well.

As I mentioned in the first 5 words of that post!:p:p;)

Bunce didn't explain the situation very well at all TBH.

Great win for the Walsh kid, I must admit I thought Apples had it in the bag when he scored the big KD, still cant understand where walsh got that second win from!
Good on you aswell for stopping it when you did Billy, was a great call:good

So near mate. Dont think Billy called it, didnt have to, Paul called it himself cause he knew he had nothing left to give, left it all in the ring:?

I just saw it the once mate, but I thought Apples wanted to go on & Billy told him it was over & thats why he was shaking his head, I could be wrong but hey-ho thats how it goes. Appleby will be back, he just needs to box a bit more, IMO he fought like Murray against Mitchell, thought he could walk through his opponent to get the win.

Hes still a young lad though, & hopefully keeps improving under Billys tutelage. I know on this forum that defeats are met with a lot of kneejerk reaction, but the lad still has time on his side, & once Apples realises that fighting like a young Nigel Benn doesnt always work? We will see the best of the lad in time, Im sure of it.

2 defeats are enough for the fickle here to write him off for good, but proper boxing fans know better.
