Actually, Sergio can summon a final burst of energy in the final 3 rounds when going gets tough and more activity is needed.

He seems to lower intensity in midrounds.

So Floyd is gonna have to deal with two bursts of energy from Martinez. One in the beginning and one in the end.

Midrounds Martinez was sluggish versus Barker, Williams I, and Pavlik.

PBF would not make easy work of Martinez, but I do think he would win a pretty clear decision.

Your thread title doesn't fit your post. In fact, i don't get your point
at all in the thread body. Maybe you shold hire an editor to type your
posts while you lie on a couch, son.
With that being said, I do agree that floyd beats martinez but it won't
    be "easy"
I'll also go on record as to say the best middleweight in the world
is NOT sergio martinez, but a very avoided russian who nobody at
160 wants any part of, nor does anybody in that range. Hell, not even
the once hot prospect wants to redeem himself against this guy.

I agree with the first post.
If he keeps sticking his head out like that and ad******g his shorts floyd will catch up with him all night long.

Pirog has to work his way up. He's gonna have an even harder time than Sergio to get tickets sold in US. The guy doesn't look like a movie star and theres not a big russian boxing audience in the US.

I would assume that Sexy Sergio actually manages to get at least some women to be interested in seeing him fight.:yep

Pirog's road to be where Sergio is now will be a long one. I wouldn't be surprised to see him turn out to have a Lebedev/Dzinziruk type career, essentially only fighting in Russia/Europe.

Floyd would make an easy paycheck against Martinez. He would dissrupt his rythym, time him and make him miss. Martinez has been clocked by a few fighters who dont have the skills or Brain of Floyd, let alone the speed.

Pac man would beat him as well.

I would rather see Martinez VS Cotto.........that would be a good fight!

I would take Martinez in 6 rounds

at 160, sergio knocks him out. too strong for him. floyd would have to jump 2 weight classes to beat him, and floyd is a small welterweight. anything at 150 would not be a fair fight. floyd would beat him easily. it should be at 154. i think floyd wins if its at 154. floyd is more skilled than him

been sayi nthis forever . Martinez is totally overrated, nothing special about him. He's really a good b - level fighter. The only chance he has against Pac or Floyd is his size. Realistically he's probably too big for eitehr of them.
