Today, with what we have observed, those concerns should be placed on hold. At his first full day of training at the Wildcard Gym in Hollywood this afternoon, the general consensus of the people who were there was the Pacman never lost a beat. Truly, as Freddie Roach had often mentioned, when Manny gets into serious training, he trains as if there is no tomorrow. He also did several rounds of skip rope and had stretching routine supervised by Nonoy Neri. But what made the day so pleasing particularly to the serious fans who trekked to the Wildcard Gym to see his first day 'in the office' was the several rounds of punch mitts routine he had with Freddie Roach. It seemed like he never left the gym. His timing is good and his speed albeit not yet there totally, appeared to be coming along just fine. Manny is back and it looks like he is back with a vengeance, one fan said. Manny paid close attention to the instructions of Freddie Roach and more than once during each round, they would stop to talk and discuss a certain scenario and how to manage it. The chemistry between the coach and the pupil was just a sight to behold. And, they have barely started! All in all, the first day just went smoothly ... smooth as silk!
seems like they're back to letting ppl watch him train again. i thought they were closing the gym to spectators. they need to.
"Smooth as silk"? Great cheer-leading piece I suppose. Anyways, any first day back to camp in which Manny actualy shows up is better than the norm.
