I was impressed with Macklin's classy commentary on the fight last night, complementary and respectful of one of his rivals, good stuff.
He has always been massively underestimated as a boxer and a person. Class always shines through in the end.
Was thinking that earlier, never used to be much of a Macklin fan but he come across really well commentating and on Ringside. Future pundit with Jamie Moore:thumbsup
Reminds me of Bellew in the sense that he is so schooled on the sport. He really know's his stuff. Very overrated though.
So he's living in New York now? Does anybody know what the craic is going to be with Macklin's training?
Nice to see that he wants his fights to be shown on Sky for the UK and Ireland and that they are talking to Matchroom about it. I hope Sky take up the option on him. Should be a interesting few months for Macklin.
