FINAL and OFFICIAL POLL: Bernard Hopkins vs Chad Dawson! Oct. 16th

If Hopkins fights like he did against Pascal he should beat Dawson and if Dawson fights like he did against Pascal he should lose..............Can Dawson improve? Dawson boring as Hell!

This is how I see it, only I think Hopkins will going into survival mode and likely not get knocked out.

If it goes the distance, Dawson will win by comfortable decision.

 

Chad fights well against old opponents(Tarver,Jhonson) so i think he will get a close UD.

I'll be shocked if Hopkins beats Dawson. I hope Hopkins wins but i just don't see it. Bad style match up. Dawson is super tall, even for Hopkins. And he fights a safety first fight. He won't give Hopkins many chances. It will probably be very boring. But if Dawson decides to let his hands go, old man Hopkins will be overwhelmed. And i'm a huge Hopkins fan. There is a reason why Hopkins avoided Dawson for years.

 

Dawson. He is quick and active enough to outpoint Hopkins for a decision.

 

Seeing the current poll result, people are underrating Dawson. Big time.

The most difficult fight for Hopkins at this stage is a rangy fighter with good offensive skills. His notable recent wins were with Pavlik and Pascal, two slow fighter whom he was able to outbox effectively. Dawson will probably dictate a tempo that Hopkins may not be able to dance with.

 

Stylistically it's a bad fight for B-Hop. But if Chad doesn't bring his A-game he's going to lose. Want B-Hop to KO him though.

Dawson, Hopkins will try to make it a rought fight(like always), but no way he's going to beat Dawson.

 

This fight will show why Hopkins was never interested in fighting Dawson before.

 

I quit picking against Nard after Pavlik. Damn, that was humiliating...probably humiliating for Pavlik as well.
