Yeah I agree with that. Ruddock was a harder one punch, puncher. I think Tyson was more durable, Holyfield was a little guy back then. He wouldnt have been dropped and drooling all over himself if he got nailed by that Cooper shot. I think the Ruddock fights showed that Tyson needed to be hit by a lot to be put down.
I dont think Bowe could put him down either with one shot. The successive shots that Douglas hit Tyson with were mammoth. Besides that Tyson had never been off his feet really. Even when he was an upright corpse he basically went down on his own will. He was never really knocked off his feet.

Evander got rocked from the punch and grabbed the rope to steady himself, an official knockdown in all fairness but he was perfectly fine and went on the attack after recieving the standing eight. Dropped and drooling is more than a bit of an exaggeration.

But yeah, Cooper probably woudn't have scored a knockdown against Tyson though if he caught him with a similar shot. Tyson's legs were so powerful, even when he got caught and hurt from one shot, he stayed upright.
