2013 would be pushing it at 36 years old, I feel like a fight would Pacquiao and Khan would be less significant because excuses would get made if Floyd looses that he was washed up.

I feel 2012 is Floyds last big year for fights against Pacquiao, Martinez, Khan to happen. If he fights 2 of those 3 I would be reasonable be happy for him to retire after that.

He should retire now unless he's going to fight anyone decent.

Depends. If he is able to adapt his game to rely less on his reflexes, and more on his boxing IQ (which is very high indeed), then he could fight on for a long while at a high level.

He will probably retire in 2013. Roger said Floyd can fight a couple more years. Floyd will probably fight 3-4 more times and retire.

If Hopkins can fight at an elite level deep into his 40's, why would Floyd be pushing it past 36?? It's not like Floyd has taken any more punishment than Hopkins (he's taken less) and it's not like he has been fighting very frequently (he's taken tons of time off in the past 5 years), and it's not like he relies on his speed and reflexes and doesn't have good boxing fundamentals (he's a master boxer and a top 5 all time great defensive fighter). It's not like he doesn't have Hopkins boxing IQ (his ring IQ is as high or higher)He would be facing quicker fighters than Hopkins because he fights 4 divisions south of him, so that could be a factor if he fights into his 40's, but not as much of a factor as it would be for a fighter who has relied exclusively on speed and reflexes.

Hopkins was never physically gifted, Floyd was extremely
