The co-feature will involve lightweight titlist Brandon "Bam Bam" Rios (28-0-1, 21 KOs), who is, for my money, one of the most exciting young stars in the sport. If he's fighting, I'm watching. There is no opponent signed yet, but Top Rank's Carl Moretti told me he's working on a deal with British promoter Frank ****** to sign John Murray (31-1, 18 KOs) for the fight. Although Murray is coming off his only career loss -- an eight-round knockout to Kevin Mitchell in July -- it was a terrific fight. I have no doubt a Rios-Murray fight would provide excitement and competition. I just hope it's finalized. If not, Rios will still be on the card. http://espn.go.com/boxing/blog/_/na...tonio-margarito-ii-ppv-undercard-offers-value Not a done deal and Rios should win but it'll be fun whilst it lasts :yep
I guess this shows Franks view on what he thinks of Murrays future :yep He'll be able to give Rios a war for 3-4 rounds but he'll be blown away.
It wouldn't even be fun. It would be brutal and would end horribly. Bad bad move for John. I'm sure Gallagher would have advised against it :yep
More bad advice from those looking after him, there just after the money and not thinking about his career. He will get smashed and be back to square one.
I hate to say I told u so, but I told u so http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=339518 Second part is seemingly right anyway
Big pay day and a big opportunity but slim chance of winning... Doubt see what the problem is to be honest, he's not going to improve that much more so good on them giving him the opportunity and it'll be fun whilst it lasts before Murray gets destroyed; but that's one thing we love boxing for, a good tear up! This ain't no ballet ****
These two statements should never go together! (Well, I suppose they could if you're a Murray fan) Rios in 5 at the most.
. MM, check out the Presser pics on my FB. I bought a few BB tops from the site you gave me. Wore the blue one there :good
