IMO, people should stop protesting this catch-weight fight if it is scheduled at 154 pounds. Martinez won't be in a big advantage because of his weight drained.

Sure...Floyd has already known that people in boxing use roids...his WHOLE life he talked about how boxing is a sport where people end up brain damaged and he said thats why he is so defensive so he wont take any punches and be able to live life beyond boxing....but he never seen a guy like Pac who climbed these weight classes and had gotten so extroadenarily strong that he was able to DESTROY welterweights...Pac and Floyd are not the only ons who gained nearly 50 lbs since they were 16...SRL, Roberto Duran, Ezerd charles, tommy herns have gaines what?...50, 40, 30 lbs a piece?..but all fighters lose speed, power, or both...Pac is the ONLY one who had gotten so strong he was able to beat the blood out of full blown ww, or push middleweights back...Floyd has great reasons to believe Pac is on roids..an d if he thinks that, we have to respect that....u cant honestly say he's making an excuse, cuz Pac's athleticism has increased tenfold when he was a regular guy who used to get tired like any other fighter...and chavez jr does the same thing they do yet he has no power or speed..u say a black man asking an asian man...has nuthing to do with race...Floyd made a few racist jokes but ask urself why he made those jokes....cuz *******s where on ustream and twitter calling him racist names while he was on ustream and calling him an Aggot-Fay....He just got caught up in the moment and responded the way he did....not to excuse him but people have to underSTAND what he did and why he did it..chill...no race war between u and me fellow boxing fan...let the ignorant people call me a ******..YOU Dont have to call me that, let those losers do it for u!

I doubt that will be happening. Bruce Trampler has already advisied Top Rank to not allow Pacquiao fight anyone as big as Margarito again. The fact that Martinez is not a Top Rank fighter, makes that fight even more unlikely.

Martinez/Pac fight should be at 154 and only at 154 . Martinez/Mayweather would never ever happen . So no point in discussing that fight .

You gotta understand also, the WAY Floyd demanded the test. sh*t doesn't fly in Asia or anywhere else.

Remember, Pac's got as much control in things and he WON'T let a thug dictate to him like that.

Amazing how FLoyd doesn't get rattled in the ring, but when he continually gets pounded outside the ring whether its through live interviews or if its some random racist scmucks on U-Stream, he loses it.

He didnt LOSE it....he was just comfortable around his friends and speaking out of his ass...he didnt BLOW up..it was Floyd being Floyd in the moment...and u say the WAY Floyd demanded the test...Pac had the crazy demands First...Floyd could have walked out when they said ten million per lb u come in over weight...but he agreed cuz he knew he wouldnt come in overweight, and he wanted to make the fight happen....say what u want...but Floyd didnt demand anything crazy...He demanded a test that would make it imPOSSIBLE for him or Pac to cheat...his demand was a good demand...u can say he was being controlling all u want....but the demand was solid...Pac said no and the whole world acted like it was a bad demand...how can u support a guy that turnes down a drug test that will make the fight fair?....Quit being biased

By all accounts, Sergio is a small Middleweight. I think going up would be a bad move. The best chance for a legit fight, would be against Mayweather at 154. Manny Pacquiao's trainer and advisor will be against putting their guy in there with a crafty fighter with power and speed. That's a mixture of elements that ensure that Freddie Roach and Mike Koncz would go for something a bit lighter. The catch weight issues are getting old and tired fast. In moy honest opinion, it's ****ing up the sport of boxing. People winning titles at 154, when the contracted weight is at 150. I'm old school. We're having another welterweight title fight at a catchweight. This guy won the title at a catch weight and he's defending it at a catch weight. Being small doesn't give him the excuse of fighting at so many catch weights. If you're small and you don't want the opponent to weigh in at the weight limit, you should fight at a smaller weight class. If your opponent can't weigh 147lbs for a 147lbs title, then that fighter should fight at 140. This guy is having his cake, and eating it too. It's ****ing up the game and it's a farce.
