Hagler only charged Hearns like a bull because he had to, for Hearns was so difficult to box from the outside and was most dangerous when he got distance so he could fully get leverage on his right hands.

Hagler wouldn't need to fight like that against Jackson, he could fight in his more usual style. Outbox him and methodically break him down.

    Hagler in the mid rounds.

whilst jackson would have stood a chance with glass jawed disgraces like herol graham and roy jones junior, jackson simply has no chance against hagler, one of the worst match ups jackson could ever have.

Jackson had the power to stop anyone from 154 to 160 . Hearns hurt Hagler momentarily in the first round when Marvin charged at him so Why cant Jackson (whos arguably a heavier puncher) do it . I for one believe Marvin would've TKOed him in 7 . ...But theres always someone out there that can crack your chin , Iron chin or not .

Julian, although had serious TNT for fists, just didn't have the know how to defeat the Marvelous 1. I think Marvins constant pressure and attack wuld be too much for The Hawk and will c him bn stopped in the mid-late rounds.

    Brutal Contest!!!

This would have been Fight of Century. Would have lasted no more than a few rounds with Jackson surviving a few KD's before being KO'ed viciously.

Jackson had the kind of power that could have stopped heavyweights. In my life iv NEVER seen anyone punch that hard.

got to look at jacksons losses , tkod early on by mccallum, thomas tate nearly had him out, gman knocked his head off 2 times, and we wont count his other ko losses when he was at his end....if thomas tate could take his hammers....hagler would too...and hagler dont get tired

when he was starching guys back in the day on showtime...i seriously thought the same thing...if he landed on a heavyweight, they would go down too...because he left mutha ****ers laying out to where you could have counted to 100. and i dont really remember too many cheap ass kos...his were right on target bombs landing....think terry norris remembers...maybe not :D

Every time i think of that man i literally get tingles. I mean seriously that was discombobulating lights out brain struck by lightening power. Mortal men are not supposed to punch that hard. Any time he landed on the button his opponents were literally frozen in their tracks or knocked cold BEFORE they hit the floor. How on earth do you generate that kind of power? Frightening.

Hawk hit harder than Hearns but wasn't as good as Hearns. This would be a dream match up for as long as it lasts. Hagler TKO 6.

Again, people need to actually watch Hagler's fights, instead of simply seeing the Hearns bout and other selective highlights.

Hagler was a boxer-puncher who used economic movement, boxed behind his jab then opened up with combinations, had solid parrying and head movement, and then turned it up when he smelled blood.

It is unlikely to be a vicious war, unless we're talking about the aging Hagler who slowed down in both his legs and defensive reflexes. And even the slowing Hagler spent large portions of the Mugabi fight boxing and jabbing the **** out of The Beast.

There's little reason for Hagler to fight Jackson like he did Hearns. Jackson can't box like Hearns from the outside, and was more dangerous with shorter shots anyway. Tommy's most dangerous punch was when he got some distance to get full leverage on his right.

Well... his power was extraordinary for his weight class , but i wouldent go that far in saying he can take out a natural heavyweight .
