This thread is about size, its about the fact that mormeck was a cruiserweight, post prime like norris was against tyson

 

mormeck is not on DeLeon's level...not even close

 

Tyson himself was only 218 in his prime.

 

Yes, I know he didnt fight him as a champion I just meant around the time that he was champion.
I said nothing to suggest that adamek mormeck and haye are better than spinks, just wlad and vitali get a lot of criticism for fighting former cruiserweights, when some good heavyweights have been LHW or cruisers. In the past no one would have batted an eyelid if the heavyweight champ fought someone the size of adamek/haye/mormeck but the fact that it is such an issue now really says a lot about the strength of the division compared to the past.
