Anyone watching this fight? It's on comcast sportsnet, whatever that is...
I think Roman might be shot? Anyone have an opinion on this fight?

Guess Roman doesn't have any interest these days...

I'd watch it but it looks like it's only on select Comcast Sports Net stations varying by region (and not including CSN New England :verysad).

It's supposedly starting in ten minutes. (the televised card).

I think Karmazin has a really good chance. Adama isn't a world beater.

Did you see his last fight? Roman suffered a tko late and looked pretty rough going into the late rounds. Always liked Roman, just wonder if he's got any left in the tank

I did. I've also seen Adama a few times. It's an excellent choice of comeback opponent for Karmazin (who retired after that loss). If he can beat Adama, he can mount one more run at a title - and since it's an eliminator, it won't have to be a very long run. If he can't beat Adama, he knows he has no business lacing them up anymore. Very good way to gauge what he's got left.

Likewise for Adama, beating even a somewhat shot Karmazin will nudge him up the rankings and help legitimize him a bit as a contender. Failing to beat a somewhat shot Karmazin will be a big setback.

A guy at the venue is doing updates on Twitter:

    Round 1
Slow, jab filled round. Adama gets the better of it. 10-9 Adama

    Round 2
Both fighters doing a bit of the same. Goes to the body and jabbing. Better round for Karmazin. 10-9 Karmazin.

    Round 3
Lot better of a round for Adama. Right hand finding its range and keeps landing. 29-28 Adama

    Round 4
Pretty good fight in this one. Both fighters a lot more active with Karmazin landing fairly solid combinations. 10-9 Karmazin

    Round 5
Two great left hooks for Adama. Each one of their jabs is excellent, but Adama had the better round. 10-9 Adama

    Round 6
Karamazin not throwing much and Adama isn’t landing much. Slower round for both. Adama takes it with a clean right hand. 58-56 Adama

    Halfway point...

    I hear you, BE. :sad2

This still doesn't really say anything about Adama - except that he caught Made In Hell at the end of his career and that the old man ran out of steam from the sound of it.

A lower-end top-20 middleweight would outbox him (as did a pair of lower-end top-20 super middles in Dyah Davis and Donovan George...titanic boxing intellects that they are...)

    Geale is the IBF champ.

That's who Adama just earned himself a date with.

    :lol::lol:

You lose on points to Davis and George...yeah...GOOD ****ING LUCK against Geale. :rofl
