a) If Mayweather doesn't fight Williams, maybe Cotto should fight Williams.

b) Ray Robinson fought the best, true. He also ducked some fighters. And fighting 200 times in the 1940s was normal; it is like fighting 40-50 times today.

I am saying that many think Mosley was robbed. Many. I'm not saying Mosley or me think he lost.

I 'm a Mayweather fan. But first and foremost I am a boxing fan first. So with that said , I dont care who these guys fight. If one doesnt fight one guy. another guy will. I just want to see as many fights as possible.

I guess since I train and fight myself , and wish to put in a few pro fights someday; I realize that these are professional athletes . There not pit bulls . I cant just throw them in the pit whenever I want to and then kill them if they are maimed .

They will fight who they fight . I'm over it. I dont work for the Hall of Fame . I'm seriously not thinking about anyones's legacy but my own.

 

I dont think Mayweather can ever be knocked for fighting light welters as the light welters he has fought are not too bad and Mayweather himself started at super feather so he has been fighting naturally bigger guys anyway. I beleive Floyd Mayweather could easily still be the champ at 135 if he chose, he has pumped himself up into a Welterweight.

I do think it will be a waste of talent if he retires now, at his peak. He has the division to be one of the very best, im talking Ray Robinson, Willie Pep, Armstong territory. He claim to be as good as Sugar Ray, then I think he should prove it.

The only reason Mayweather should fight Cotto is for all you Mayweather haters who can't deal with Mayweathers talent. Mayweather will beat Cotto worse than he did Hatton. Styles make fights, Cotto is slower and applies less preasure than hatton. Floyd will tag him up. Cotto's famous body shots would be a non factor due to Mayweathers famous defense against the body attack.

Paul williams has a better shot but still needs another fight to deserve to step into the ring with him.

 

cintron and clottey wouldnt stand a chance against floyd, i would say paul williams, cotto, margarito and mosley are definately fights that will prove he is the king of his time.

 

I want to see Cotto-Williams winner fight Floyd.


Or at least have Cotto fight DLH to make himself a bigger star.



BUT, Cottos team never had Floyd on radar, they had DLH. Floyd beat Cotto to DLH. That's why both are to blame.

It's funny when, people critize Floyd for going after DLH. When Cottos' team wanted DLH because it was more marketable.
