I've never liked Dimitrenko. I think he's worse than Welliver for sure. Not the greatest bunch of heavyweights, but some really good match ups to be made between them. I'd say Dimitrenko is the worst.

Welliver has the worst record, so I'd say him.

  7. Welliver would not even be a fringe contender if it was the 1970's because he would be killed by Quarry,Lyle,Ali,Frazier,Shavers,Foreman,Norton, a UPS man,a taxi driver etc.

Welliver at this point. I think he could beat Dimentrenko though.

Eddie Chambers- undersized overachiever. Should move down to cruiser and re-invade heavies later.

Odlanier Solis- Fat ****. Will never recover from the knee injury, IMO.

David Haye- Has skills and accomplishments, but has a glass jaw at heavy and it is apparent by the way he fights.

Alexander Povetkin- Has the best wins on this list, only exceptional in that he throws a good volume of punches. Chin is a question mark since he avoids punchers and seemed hurt by light-hitting Chagaev. Confused style, and seems to be scarred of the Klits.

Dennis Boytsov- Lets see what you can do. You claimed that your hand injury held you back, lets see you step up and show us. Thus far we have not seen much.

Robert Helenius- The pick of this sorry litter. He's big, has power in either fist, a solid chin, and his jab is not as bad as some have claimed. He's also slow and has hand problems. He'll be a champ someday, but not anytime soon.

Alexander Dimitrenko- I am not going to call a professional fighter a ***** or a *****, but if I was to use either term, Dimi would be the man for both! I used to defend this guy.

Thomas Adamek- Tough as nails, but not a heavyweight. I could see him having a good scrap with Povetkin, but stay way from the Klits.

Chris Areolla- Overrated fat guy who looses whenever he fights anyone. Seems to have a fan base that gets wildly excited when he beats high end gatekeepers and fringe contenders.

Chauncey Welliver- Seems to have a good chin and throws lots of punches. If he can get in shape, he could climb above Dimenrenko. But lets be honest that he is at the bottom of the list .

Welliver is the least accomplished so far. But he is 1 of the better fighters on that list.

He is the 2nd youngest on the list too. Only Boytsov is younger than Welliver. And what has he really done besides break his hands to bits? Dimitrenko would be beaten soundly by Welliver IMO. David Haye would have a very hard time throwing enough punches to beat Welliver. Solis vs Welliver would be a very good fight. Welliver is down 50 pounds since Team Solis gave him 10 days notice to show up in Germany to fight, and he was not even in training when he was called.

Welliver can show up off his couch with 10 days notice and Solis could not even knock the kid down when he was practically obese. He'd have a hell of a time dealing with a 233 pound Welliver.
