Is a washed up Holyfield better than a fat slug called Tua?

A corpse is better than Tua at this point. I plan on never watching this fight, unless Holyfield gets lucky. I hate seeing Holyfield lose badly to guys he would've annihilated in his better days.

    Sad, **** fight really.

I guess Holy needs the money, and I don't blame Povetkin for cashing in. But after this, he has to fight a Klit or **** him.

I actually lost all respect for Povetkin for taking the fight.

Wretched WBA paper ass belt. ***** Povetkin should have to face Wlad as his mandatory, not open up a door for all the contenders to duck out on Wlad for a chance to fight that shithead Povetkin for the trinket. That's part of why Wlad can't get a fight against a contender at the moment. For all the haters hating Wlad for picking Mormeck, thank the WBA for its regular title that is easier to obtain. I hope Holyfield beats Povetkins ass somehow, that's how sick it makes me that he is taking the fight. Maybe Atlas wants another shot at Holyfield since Moore bounced his ass as trainer and then lost to Holyfield.

Yea. I can't imagine this fight getting anyone anything. It's just another easy pay-day!

You are right on. But this is REALLY sad. I would be ashamed to be a HW in these times. It's really **** poor.

(sorry for a ***** and moan thread, but it really is that bad!)
    :-(

Considering that a prime Holyfield would probably soundly beat Povetkin, there's always a chance that Holy could win.

Expect Povetkin to land more punches and possibly stop Holyfield late.

This is pathetic. I could probably take Holyfiled the distance and win a close decision. Did you see how Holyfield bitched out against Tank Williams? LOL...
    :yep

Yeah....watching him lose to Toney, knowing only 5 yrs earlier he would have had Toney doing the ****** dance made me sad too.:-(

But I think Potvetkin SD's him. He'll carry Holyfield not wanting to cripple the old man. :blood

A 20000 y/o Botha is a better win than anything Boystov has done in his career. Holy earned his fake shot unlike Boystov.

If Boystov is a fighter he needs to tell his people he wants other top prospects or tough journeymen/gatekeepers at least. Mitchell, Rodriguez, and Wach are aching for a fight with Denis.

This is a pretty bad fight but I guess its better than Wlad-Mormeck. I don't like this fight but expected it but I am really hoping Povetkin's next defense is a real contender. It would be even worse if Povetkin's next fight is against Rahman or another shot fighter.

Just curious. What exactly would Povetkin be defending?
