But lucky for him he has a handicapped fighter headhunting or shot to **** blown up LTwght/JrWltr usually 35+ with no big win 365 days before facing him unable to test him.
Minimal power at the weight and largely overrated defense.
Jab is null vs Southpaws, oh but it is a range finder. Compubox numbers say it all except vs JLC.

 

We've seen him suckerpunch in the ring before. (Gatti fight.) We've also seen him fighting aggressively before...early in his career, as well as when we fought Judah and Mitchell, although that was probably due to their southpaw stance.

I agree that there's something odd about him these days, though. It's not just one thing that you can point to, but just the total package -- I was particularly surprised by his behaviour at the weigh-in and his explosion at Merchant. (He infamously blew up at Larry after the Baldo match, but this was much worse than that.) All the court cases he's dealing with and these stories about his temper tantrums outside the ring don't help, either...we even got to see one of them on 24/7, something I don't think was staged. Floyd seems more mentally fragile these days. It's odd, because I'd expect him to actually mellow with age, but it's like he's going in the reverse direction -- getting worse the older he gets.

Yeah, he's always fought in different ways depending on the opponent and situation.

Gatti looked at the ref. Floyd jumped in and hit him with a shot when he wasn't looking or ready. That's pretty much a suckerpunch right there. (Although a legal one, as it was against Ortiz.)

Mayweather walked forward the majority of the fights with Judah and Mosley.

He did that against Augustus, the early rounds against El Famoso, Ndou, Corley.

He dropped Gatti and hit Mosley with what many would call sucker-punches.

He whined and ripped on the old drunk, only to a lesser extent, after he beat Baldomir. Again with the whole "Larry doesn't know anything about boxing"
