That left hook in the 1st was SICK. Can't believe he got up (eventually) and made it out of the round.:admin

He probably got up because he has very good recovery powers.

He made it out of the round probably mostly because Hernandez doesn't have much of a killer instinct though.

EDIT: However, watching it again now, he did try pretty hard this round...

In a British ring the ref would have waved it off before he hit the floor.

Say about USS what you will, but he has balls of steel. He faced undefeated Marco "Hometown" Huck and beat the crap out of him with the entire nation against him.

Coming from a big Cunningham fan. I thought the count was too slow and I don't think he made it up in time.

Steve's got some pretty insane recuperative powers which probably comes from him being in great shape come fight night. One of the times Adamek knocked him down I swore he was out before he hit the canvas but he still got up.

Ref was a second or two delayed as they usually are, so by his count Cunningham was up at 7 or 8.

In real time count: He gets up just before 10.

Some refs might still had stopped it due to Cunninghams condition, but that up to the ref to decide (And he/she may use all the time he/she wants to assess that)

The ref ( Mickey Vann) decided that Cunningham could continue, and that was the right call in this situation seeing as how the match progressed afterwards.

Cunningham corner bought some time by spilling water into the corner, the time for recovery was like 30 secs...

That's not true. Watch the clock from the time he hits the ground to when he rises.
