Tito to the canvas in round two, by a vicious right hand of Tzsyu, then, Tito wins by murder KO in round 3.
This is a fight which I think is very hard to imagine how it pans out. Tszyu was calculated, had great distance, range and power, however Tito in many ways had the same assets, but had size on his side. I actually always saw KT beating Oscar at 140lb (I realise most would disagree), and while it wouldn't have been his optimum weight, at 147lb's he would have been a great match for anyone. it isn't fair to say he wouldn't have been competitive there, almost all of opponents were taller at 140lb's so giving away a few inches never bothered him. The problem here for KT is that he did tend to struggle with rangy guys, heavy handed guys, and Tito was deadly accurate at times. If he could box as he did against Forrest in the amateurs it would have been awesome, however Trinidad is no Forrest, so it isn't a good comparison
I love both guys but there's no doubt in my mind - Tito by ko. Tito was really accurate with his punches and when he hits Kostya, he's going to hurt him. As well as all the physical advantages, Trinidad was one of the best finishers ever - when he hurts Tszyu, it's the beginning of the end. Tszyu gives anyone a very hard night at 140 but this is a step too far.
