In defense of HBO

Different audience. GP video is made by boxing fans for boxing fans (hardcore to be exact). HBO is made for the widest possible audience (why you have the more detail narration with the HBO).

Also notice how GP focus' on skills while HBO focus' on the back story?


Basically, ESB will appreciate GP videos more, while HBOGO subscribers will understand the HBO version better.
