Knowing Bute could not enter it without being released from his contract.........IDK, and I'm saying that, but the FACT is that we won't see a Bute Ward match until Bute becomes Ward's mandatory, and that means he has to win a damned eliminator, while Ward can still avoid him by unifying vs Steiglitz/Kessler.

This tournament has been a lose-lose for us Bute fans. I almost wish Bute coulda got outta his contract and entered, but I figured he go ahead and get the fights with the Dawsons, Steiglitz etc in the meantime.....but instead, he's got Bfighters lined up for the 4th consecutive fight. :rofl:rofl:rofl

How much Kessler said he was offered? Something simlilar to 2 danish krones I believe.

Anyway, I hope Bute will at least try to get Stieglitz now. Though we all know it won't happen.

Bute has a signed fight with Johnson. I really don't know how can he get Stieglitz. Kessler will heal faster than will Bute be ready for a next fight after Johnson. Not to mention the Kessler Stieglitz negotiations took about 1 month to conclude and Robert's purse for that fight is ludicrous.

And Kessler is the mandatory , i don't see Stieglitz risk his belt otherwise

Didn't want to see that fight anyway. Bring on Kessler-Bute or Kessler-Pavlik

Probably because the initial rumours spoke of a cancellation. Later when the injury became official it was joined by a statement by Sauerland that the fight would be rescheduled for early 2012.

I'm disappointed of this injury because I was hoping for a Bute-Kessler fight before the super 6 final. Now, Bute will have to find another opponent before fighting Froch, Ward or Kessler. Who's left? Would Showtime release Bute to fight Hopkins if the old man wins against Dawson? Hopkins is under contract with HBO. Would Bute fight Jean Pascal right away? These 2 fights are at LHW so it's not the ideal. At SMW, who's left? Andre Dirrell?

    Damn!

Let's say we don't kow the exact sum Kessler was offered. No one can prove anything anyway.

Stieglitz won't accept to fight Bute because he's not his mandatory. If Kessler-Stieglitz doesn't happen, the better fight would be Kessler-Bute on February.

But it looks like Kessler and Stieglitz will fight in 2012 after all. So it's boo ****ing hoo for Bute's fans. I doubt Bute will go up to 175, though he is capable without bulking up, to fight Hopkins or Pascal.

Anyways who's getting Ward first? Kessler or Bute? I heard team Ward were eyeing a rematch with Kessler first (when or if they beat Froch).
