Better chin Manny or Floyd

Mosley does hit hard, but Cotto, DLH, and Pacquiao were not as stunned by his right hands as Floyd was. And keep in mind, DLH took those same flush punches from a prime young Mosley. And Margarito took about 100X more right hands from Mosley before he was on the canvas.

 

Mayweather!! no doubt. i think those hard knocks he took when he was a teen have takin there toll on Pacquiao. Plus, mayweather very rarely gets hit big shots and hes proven (with mosley) that he can take a punch and recover surprisingly rapidly!

 

It's ridiculous. The other day I was trying to explain how Floyd isn't a household name in the UK. But they weren't having any of it .

I don't understand, why are you comparing the chins of Margarito, DLH etc who obviously have better chins than both Floyd and Manny?

The point I'm making is, people are basing Floyd having a poor chin off of

1. Him being rocked by the hardest puncher in the division, with no exceptions

2. Him being hit with a pretty good right hand and then follow ups, 8 years ago as a LWW by Corley (If his chin can be called weaker because he was rocked as a LWW, Many has been rocked numerous times throughout different weight classes so I don't understand the logic)

I didn't see Mosely land the type of right hand he landed on Floyd on Manny once, and I'd welcome any evidence to suggest otherwise

At WW nothing can be determined about either of their chins because the only puncher either one has faced is Mosely, and the only one that took a flush full power right was Floyd, and I doubt it would have had a different effect on Manny

Pacman probably has a better chin (I don't think I've said otherwise), but there's not much proof to support it, I've seen him look in trouble far more than Mayweather has through all of their weight classes, though Mayweather seems more skittish when being hit, and he has definitely been hit clean plenty of times

It's hard to say when Manny gets stunned in almost every fight, and has been dropped on numerous occasions, is people here really gonna act like before the Barrera fight, boxing analyst were saying Manny Pacquiao had a suspect glass chin.

 

Cotto's not a puncher but Mosley is? Cotto may not punches as hard but Mosley being a 1 shot KO artist is a myth. What prominent fighter did Mosley KO with 1 punch at 147? He's more an accumlation puncher also. As a matter of fact, Mayweather is the only top boxer Mosley has stunned with one punch early in the fight. Margarito, Mayorga, and Vargas took a whole lot of punishment before they were finished off.
