by the rule, holding the rope to prevent yourself from hitting the canvass is technically scored as a kd. it doesnt necessarily have to come with a knee touching the canvass

It wasn't certain Marquez was going down had he not touched the ropes. It was just a instinctive reaction rather than to prevent himself from falling down.

All he did was grab the top rope. Had he fallen into the ropes then it would have been called a KD.

I'm through debating the merits of who won what fight.

I will say this however, Arum demeanor and comportment at the post fight press conference said it all.
He was steaming mad that Marquez team was making a strong argument that they were robbed, and the press around them was agreeing with team Marquez.:lol::lol:

......and *******s, who did the Pinoy broadcast team score for????:rofl:rofl:rofl

Marquez has faded. He hasn't lost any of his great ring intelligence but physically he's a little slower than before. He's not even a lightweight really so at WW it may show up more.

Pacquaio will win again, I think inside 10. Since they last fought, Pacquaio is that much improved, where-as Marquez is that much older. Pac still doesn't possess the skills of Marquez (Hardly anyone does) but he has almost every physical advantage.

You cant call razor close fights a robbery though just because you scored it for the guy that didnt get the win.

  8. It was very close, probably marquez won it but boxing judging is a subjective sport. pac marquez 2 is one of my favourite fights in boxing history

great trilogy there needs to be a clear winner that has to be for history. ali-norton esque

those think this will be competitive will be disappointed. they are two complete different fighters and how the fight went at sub 130 is irrelevant as Marquez will be carrying an extra 15 pounds aka sandbags which will make him look like his fighting under water. depending on pacs mood will determine how fast the fight will end.
