If that's 'straight talk', this young man is a breath of fresh air for boxing.....just what's needed.
if you stop calling him super G I can be a more vocal fan. Proksa is the man and looks to be the real deal but being a great boxer doesn't make you a G. I'm a fan though, can't wait to see him again and Zbik's a good fighter.
I take it when someone says "G" they mean "Great"? Proksa nickname uses the letter G for his 1st name Gregory, thats all. But he will be "Great" one day, thats for sure. Maybe while I have your attention, what does it mean when someone says "OP"? :think
OP= original poster (person who made thread) Proksa vs Zbik would be a great test for Proksa, only problem is I can see the top guys avoiding him if he looks great again.
When I watched the Sylvester fight i did not think this kid was going to be that skilled. Figured it was another over protective prospect.. kid has goods!!
Wasn't Calvin Brock called the boxing banker? I think Proksa being on the board of directors trumps whatever Brock did. Zbik is a pretty similar fighter to Sylvester but with less power. Might be more helpful to gain experience against a similar level guy with a different style. Maybe Mcewen, Spada, Lorenzo, Ishida although they're all a little below Zbik. I'm still dying to see Khurtsidze vs Lee. Lee's kryptonite are pressure fighters and Khurtsidze is one of the best plus the height difference would amuse me. He really is a little Tyson, Lee is being considered for Martinez though so no way they put him in with someone like that before they get a payday out of him against Barker or Martinez. Yeah, thats his nickname from the beginning. Heres his pro debute fight, against Adam Capo. Watch when Proksa steps on the gas...its only a matter of a few punches before this guy is outta there. Maybe you can hear the Polish announcers say "Super G" somewhere. I might have missed it... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NJVvYAJRIA&feature=related[/ame] Remember, this is his pro debute & he still looks great. He's even better now from all the experince. :good
He looked good on his last fight but if he doesn't get with GBP or TR he will not be knwon in the US by the casual fans, only by the hardcore fans like us.
Well, hopefully Team Proksa will play their cards right & should Greg keep winning, stardom is on the horizon. Regardless of who his promoter may be.
