    Anyone else feel like this?

I'd love Bellew to go in there and get the job done, all heart and a proud brit, he reminds me of Nigel Benn at times with his patriotic and gutsy attituide.

That said he's gonna have to be so much stronger, faster, fitter and just better than he's ever been before, there are great reports coming to us from his spars with Enzo, Degale and Froch and if he can fight without too much emotion to the point where it blinds him and he can drag Cleverly into his type of fight early then I think he's in with a real chance of pulling off an upset.

He surely can't stand off Cleverly and out-box the welshman? Although saying that before May 21st did anyone think it possible that George Groves would out-box James Degale?

Cleverly has definitely fought the better opposition and I think his fight with the criminally underrated Karo Murat is a big telling factor in how Clev can fight when dragged into a war, he has been wobbled in his last 3 fights though and I'd say that when hitting you flush Bellew hits harder than possibly any opponent Cleverly has faced so far.

Clev's workrate and engine are easily his best assets, he does have great physical advantages and it will take a better trainer than his father to make him use full advantage of his capabilities, he is all too easily dragged into a slugfest, I have no doubts that if Cleverly kept this fight at distance and boxed on the outside then it could be quite an easy night for him, but Clev fights with a lot of emotion and with an opponent he genuinely detests this could perhaps be playing right into Bellew's hands, but Clev's high punch output could cause some real problems for Bellew.

Overall, my heart is roaring Bellew pulls it off and I really hope he does but the smart boxing fan in my head is saying that Cleverly is going to rise to the occasion, I see it alternating between a chess match and a brutal war, I definitely see Cleverly going through some really sticky patches and perhaps both men having to climb off the canvas at some point, Bellew will have his success and give a great performane but I'm saying Cleverly rallys and stops Bellew on his feet in the 9th or 10th round.

Prove me wrong please Tony :D !!

clev wont box on the outside if you watch him he more or less is always comming forward throwing

you forgot one thing about clev his leaky defence i see bellew getting through and landing clean with a big bomb and putting clev asleep

i think bellews got inside his head that he will fight with emotion and thats his downfall

p.s BELIEVE BROTHER BELLEWS GONNA DO IT!!!

    Pretty much exactly my feeling.

A Bellew KO would lift me off my seat.

A Cleverly UD would have me slumping back into it, nodding "Yeah, well.."

Everything points toward a clev win but my only problem with that is he is way too easy to hit. He has a decent chin but we have seen he can be wobbled. And if he keeps taking clean shots he will get knocked out. Saying that bellew can be put over as well so I think both men will hit the deck but unless bellew gets the ko which is more then possible I think it will end in a ud for clev!

Cleverly will show he is levels above Bellew. Seems to be a lot of people hoping that Bellew can land that 1 big shot and win the fight. Even if he does land it. I doubt it will win him the fight. His power is over rated imo. And Clev seems to be able to take a shot.

Bellew really doesn't deserve a world title shot when you look at it. Has only 1 convincing performance agaisnt an English title level fighter.

Cleverly's record is not anything spectacular but he at least beat 3-4 world ranked fighters to get to where he is.

It's hilarious when people go with the gut feeling rather than what their brain is telling them.

Bellew's lost the fight before it even began.

Based on everything i've seen thus far Cleverly should win this at a canter.

Bellew to me is an exciting domestic level fighter while Cleverly is fringe world class.

Cleverly could **** up and get in a war and get KO'd but if he does I don't see Bellew getting much further, I mean can you imagine Bellew slugging with Cloud or Pascal, he'd get brain damaged.

But also maybe Cleverly has been taking some of his previous opponents lightly. He will know how bad the loss of face would be if he walked onto a silly shot and got sparked out here, so hopefully he will have worked on tightening that up in training, and will have had it drummed into him to avoid the red mist. So whatever happens, we should learn a lot about Cleverly.

My head says Cleverly, my heart likes both of them - but following the buildup to this one, and the fact that I think that Cleverly could go further, my heart is leaning towards Cleverly, too, for this fight.

Exactly how is Bellews Power overated?

He used to KO Heavyweights with Headgear on.

Bellew is also a much better boxer then a lot of people think. Arnie said his skills in the gym were excellent he just sometimes goes wading in a bit too much.

I think Bellew will get the stoppage. Clevs defence is bad and bellew will get to him. Clevs dad has no sensible advice to give and will probably end up having a row with Powell in the corner. Powell being the only one in that corner who seems to give the right advice!!!

Clev has shown he is open to the short left hook before, and bellew loves that shot!!!

my take on it for what it is worth,

    it is a 50 -50 fight,

i dont think Tony will knock him out, i know people on here say Nathan chin not up to much but i think it is,

i think Bellew will have to box smart like in the McKenzie fight, i know people say it was boring , but Bellew showed the right tactics and smart boxing and got the job done... end of.

and also to box smart and mix it up every now and then,

could be an explosive few rounds and either could win, as they are both too eager to prove,

overall 50- 50 fight with Tony Bellew winning close pts win,

so basically i dont know

i can see nothing but a Cleveerly UD but i must agree with 1whites and i can see both fighters hitting the floor but i do think cleverly will come out on top and if he presses his fight onto bellew he could make it quite comfortable.
