I agree. Is there a modern fighter who is a worse matchup against johnson? I will go furtehr to say that if Jack was around in modern times, Qawi would be one of the first figthers he would look to be matched against with a big name, Low risk High reward type of fight.

Johnson wins by stoppage around the 7th under modern rules or dominant decision or even police stoppage around the 15th under old rules.

 

Jack takes a boring lopsided decision.

Qawi has way better offensive talents on film, like mint combo punching, And he had way better defensive talent with his super-slippery headmovements. Jack Johnson had a bloody LOW workrate And was used to countering teh "one punch combinations" of crude supermiddleweight midgets. Qawi eats him alive. Forces him to work way too hard. His powerful pressure would break JJ down brutally IMO. :!: Ok Qawi is a midget, but he was built like a TANK at a stocky solid 189lb.
