Both of the brothers chased Lewis and continually kept calling him out while Lewis kept on procrlaming he would eat one for breakfast and one for lunch.. and sat on his ass doing nothing.

Luckily for him Wlad got blasted by Sanders so Lewis came out and like a little school girl said "I TOLD YOU SO" even though he was just glad Sanders did that instead of lewis having to do it himself.

While Lennox kept on going on proclaming Vitali would be a waste of time he ducked him to a point that he chose a fat Kirk Johnson and anyone else BUT Vitali. Vitlai ended up fighting on undercard. Then Johnson was injured and Lewis was FORCED by HBO to fight Vitlai or whole card is scrapped.

Being backed into the corner Lennox agreed to the fight.

When fight started everyone realized EXACTLY why Lennox wanted nothing to do with Vitali... but after some early success Lewis dug deep and fought back injuring Vitali eye which led to a stoppage and lennox got off the hook.

Instead of giving Vitali a rematch he bailed even though he would have happily given Tyson a rematch.

Bottom line he never wanted to do anything with Vitali till he was forced to. Second time around he bitched out and retired and Vitali immediatly picked up where lewis left
off

Lennox blasted Vitalis face for 6 straight rounds and stopped him on one of the most horrific collection of cuts I have ever seen. It was immediately followed by 8 straight years of butt hurt Klitschko fans pissed that their boy lost, whining and moaning and coming up with all kind of conspiracy theories. Try as they may to bring people round to their twisted way of thinking, the fact still remains, LEWIS TKO6 VITALI. This fact will always remain.

 

Almost a level assessment Baldwin, I didn't think you had it in ya. except you understated Big V experience a bit (he did fight byrd for the title)

It was a tough fight and Lewis was in those type of battles before, he would have pulled it out in the end either way.

Im sorry but Lewis beating Vitali on a decision of KO, is widely better than winning on cuts, in a fight you were losing.

 

Lewis not only ducked the klitschkos, he also ducked byrd and a prime tyson.

after vitali hurt him in the fight, lewis run to his mum so she can protect him from vitali. so he can retire.

I always am slightly disturbed by Vitali fans who say "if only it had gone 1 or 2 more rounds!"

Vitali ended up getting 70 stitches on his face, imagine the damage that would have been done to his face if he had to fight another 2 rounds.

It could have been career ending.

 

Semi-retired Lewis agreed to give Vitali his shot 5-6 months early because of the injury to Johnson, it was a fight Vitali dreamed of for 2-3 years prior.
Dr Ironfist gave it a good go but ultimately it wasn't enough.
It seems now after 8 years that Vitali is actually grateful he got a shot at a true HW champ.
So should his fans be, otherwise what else would they have to talk about.
