it's actually not a bad question. Floyd on numerous occasions said he can beat him no matter what. so why would it matter?

now Floyd said it is because of his health. He shouldn't have to get hurt, yadda yadda yadda.

Now if the rumors are true, and he might fight Serg, in a way, that in and of its self renders his argument about the test mute. No matter what illegal substance Pac might be on, he will never be as big, or as strong, or as powerful as Serg.

So why is Floyd willing to fight a person like Serg, a naturally bigger stronger man, that can hurt him, then someone like Pac who is allegedly on PED's and might be able to hurt him?

Not really, cause he is in a sport whose best fighters of the last 20-25 years(V Klit, Holyfield, Roy Jones, James Toney, Shane Mosley, Fernando Vargas), have been linked to roiding or has failed test, and will continue to sweep **** under rug, cause if the public made a big deal about it, boxing would really be dead. Cause when you open pandora's box and sling mud on people, those in the know will throw all types of **** back, to fixed in house fighting, promotional companies paying judges and refs, Roids, dives etc. Even though I feel Mayweather is fighting a righteous battle, whether for the right reasons or for ulterior motives, in the long run he is fighting a losing battle. At the end of the day it doesn't matter if Pac is on Roids or not, he is the best fighter next to May in the steroid era of boxing.

Yes of course it does, anyone who says otherwise is an idiot, ignorant, or unable to grasp the concept of a sporting contest.

 

I understand the point of the question, but using PED's isn't a good thing, just because its more widely accepted now doesn't mean its not against the rules. I've got no proof to substantiate it, but I'd suspect that plenty of high level boxers have juiced.

 

If this fight is actually going to happen it's probably because Sergio is willing to convince Floyd (via fully randomized testing) that he will be entering the ring, under his own power (not to mention Floyd would keep most of the money). If Manny were willing to do the same (with no equivocation), maybe...just maybe this fight would've happened by now or, at the least, we'd know for sure if Floyd truly does not want it (and we could all move on).
