Because Cotto will be a HOFer, are you saying that the Cotto that Pac fought would a more dangerous opponent than Sergio Martinez v Floyd?

Neither one of them is in the top 15 ATG at this point though. They have to fight each other. Preferrably 3 times to get a huge leap.

Anyone that believes this thread is a ******. Neither Floyd nor Manny will ever fight Sergio.

Martinez is a very strong, crafty fighter with a good chin and definite size advantage. Not to mention plethora of experience, technique and punching power, and frankly the fact that he is COMING INTO THE FIGHT AT THE PEAK OF HIS ABILITY, WITH NO DEBILITATING LOSES, RANKED #3 P4P PRETTY MUCH EVERYWHERE, AND FIGHTING CLOSE TO HIS NATURAL WEIGHT.

When was the last time Pac or Floyd fought someone like that? Marquez was a legit P4P #3 but both Floyd and Paquao brought him all the way up to 147 to get every advantage they could against a naturally smaller fighter.

Yes your assesment is more accurate. I don't know how anyone can say the Pavlik fight was close. He won 4 of the middle rds., but he got beat up. The other fights speak for themselves.

He said he was going to fight Chavez Jr also.

We'll see who the ******s are. There isn't a hope of Floyd fighting Martinez next.
