Anyone else here go? Seems like a really cool, funny dude. Worked the gloves for a while, and, man, that little guy can punch with some force. You can see why he destroys opponents. He answered a bunch of questions and talked about moving up in weight, slowly. Also imitated other boxer's styles (Floyd, Tyson,etc.). Did a hilarious imitation of Ortiz getting KTFO and of Joe Cortez. Anyway, just wondering if anyone else from ESB attended.
Man I wanted to go bad but I had **** lined up already. He's having something else in Jersey City on Monday but it's at 4 but I don't get outta work till 5 so I'll miss that too. Real life **** sucks.
There were a bunch of people videotaping it. I was hoping someone from ESB might have gotten some video. They passed his belts around the crowd for people to take pictures with. It was pretty cool. That guy is one hell of an athlete, btw. You could just see it by how he moved around in the ring, even when he was goofing around. A natural.
Def a natural and if he ever has an open workout in this area again, I ain't missin it. Btw, just bought my tickets for this fight. So glad he's fighting @MSG.
I'm sure some video will show up on youtube soon. He talked about fighting Juanma, Gamboa and especially Arce. I get a feeling that that's going to be his first big challenge at 122.
I went to his gym in California. He's a real down to earth dude and is always wiling to chat it up with fans and take pictures. Next time ask him to do imitations of other boxers fighting styles.
