Did Bhop quit? or Legit Injury (Poll)

Hopkins has been through worse. Let's be real. My dad landed on his shoulder in a similar manner and needed surgery around the same age. Luckily, he never had to go against an elite former world champion boxer in the minutes, days, weeks and months of therapy following.

 

The injury may or may not have been legit(probably was legit though).

Doesn't matter though. Bhop got a taste of his own medicine. Imagine Bhop complaining about a dirty fight!

 

Personally, it looked to me like b-hop quit. He landed on his butt before his elbow touched and he rolled onto his shoulder.

DeLaHoya just tweeted this however.

there's a doctor right there. He should have been moving the arm around. they know when a shoulder's f'n dislocated..

There's a place I can go to downtown where I can get a doctor to confirm just about anything.

Unless a commision doctor confirms the dislocation, the validity of Bernard Hopkins or any of his doctors word is zero.

 

Quit? Why? It was just round 2. If he quit, then it would hurt his legacy. Hokins is not that type of chicken.

 

Yes he is, and yes he did quit. Diagnosis of a seperated shoulder is only subjective on an x-ray, mainly going by the patients claims of distress.

 

People are just angry because they paid for the fight and they got ripped off, of course it was legit.

 

I don't think he quit per se, but he was trying to take advantage of something...I can't figure out what. It was the same in the second RJJ fight. He was winning, he had to know Roy had no chance in coming back, yet he pulled that fake injury bull****....

...I don't get why he does it. Words cannot express how disappointing that fight was. I am embarrassed for boxing, as we all should be. What a disgraceful night.
