As you know, the number 1 and 2 light heavyweights, Nathan Cleverly and Tony Bellew respectively, fought out a close one last night. What was your take?
6 rounds a piece, Draw Bellew did very well using a double jab but Clevs body shots took their toll in the end. Great fight and very close, Clev will take the rematch when it happens though
ki had it cleverly by a round. very good fight. bellews jab and relaxed style impressed me a lot. he has decent skill in their and actually looked the slicker of the two fighters. i actually thought he could have shown a bit more raw aggression in there..... make clev feel his power..... but all round it was a great fight. im gna watch it again soon as i can!
clevs by 2 rounds, he steped it up when he needed to i think he was quite comfortably but he ploding leaving bellew nick rounds
Bellew won this by 2 rounds for me, but a draw or a one point win for cleverly could have been possible due to a couple of close rounds. The 2 judges scoring 117-113 and 116-112 were either blind or disgracefully in the pocket of Frank ****** - as is usually the case in one of his fights.
