Off the top of my head I can recall -
1. Hopkins not being able to continue against R Allen for a NC
2. Hopkins lying on the floor for a while against A Echoles
3. Hopkins trying to fake injury to get time out against J Calzaghe
4. Hopkins lying on the floor pretending Jones Jnrs punch was behind the head.

Now we have a similar scenario with Dawson

 

Notice the pattern it was all against boxers ..Yet you put him in with a one dimensional plodder and he's the 2nd coming of SRR ..Either way I expected him to lose ..What sucks for the fans is how it ended !

He has a dislocated shoulder...

He has a sperated shoulder, VERY different thing.

If he had a dislocated shoulder it would be blatantly visible to everyone in attendance.

And he wouldny be able to be getting pent up in the interview and stomping around the ring.

A DISLOCATED shoulder is an incredibly painful thing.

A SEPERATED shoulder in a lefgt injury but generally not on the same level as a dislocated shoulder.

I know guys from rugby who have seperated their shoulders,and had it wrapped up,taken some painkillers and played a week or two later.

 

THAT WAS HORRIBLE! How does Dawson get a TKO for that? WTF. It's not MMA or wrestling.

Looked like a foul to me. Bhop was probably trying to "Reggie Miller" it though. Should be a no contest, IMO. I like this fire from Dawson though. The Pascal loss and this fight (despite the result) may help him reach his true potential. He has seemed to be coasting purely on talent, for a long while, without that edge that most of the great fighters have.

I don't think an immediate rematch is required here. I want to see him carry this fire into the Pascal rematch, and avenge that loss first. This kid is fighting for legacy right now.
