GBP and Bernard's reasoning is that Dawson adds no buzz at all to a fight.

Shaw and Dawson's reasoning is that they don't mind giving up a belt if a rematch is ordered by the WBC

But why doesn't Dawson want a rematch?

Because he is content with his bs win over Hopkins. I hope it gets ruled a no contest or even a win by dq for Hopkins. It would be poetic justice since Dawson said he would never give Hopkins a rematch.

Dislocates Hopkins shoulder, Celebrates winning by obvious foul, Calls Hopkins a p*ssy about 15 times and will not give the same guy who gave him a chance at the championship a rematch?

I get the feeling Hopkins doesn't want a rematch because he now knows there is a hardly a chance for him to beat Dawson.

Dawson adds no buzz?? What buzz was Pascal adding? They're both not much of "buzz" fighters but if I had to choose one, it'd be Dawson.

For the record, I don't agree with the ref's decision but Hopkins would lose in a fair fight.

No way Hopkins gets in the ring with Dawson again. He knows he has no chance of winning. ZILCH. Terrible style match up and he knows it. He's better off fighting a limited contender to look good again.

I'm shocked Dawson doesn't want a rematch considering he was, in the words of many here, "dominating" the fight.

    True that!

Hopkins was on his way of getting KOTFO. It was obvious who the stronger, faster fighter was. There was, and is a reason why Bhop had no real intention of fighting Dawson. It should be a No Contest .. in regards that Bhop is out matched and out gunned ...

There ended up being one and a half uneventful feeling-out rounds. Don't get the "domination" thing one bit.

From his interview, I think he really believes that Hopkins just bitched out of the fight and he knows he would've beaten Hopkins. You can see he was really pissed when they stopped it.

Yup, Dawson came to fight and he was genuinely pissed. He wanted to finish Hopkins off.
