Don't underestimate Mollo. I think he's the best American heavy. He reminds me of Marciano or Dempsey.

While i like the guy personally....i cant even consider him in that group. He is very one dimensional and if he was KO'ed by TOS I really cant think to high of his boxing skills.

From what I read he was not KO'd but he was taking punches and ref stepped in. He was not actually floored.

Ya', but his shorts really suck. Is he serious about this fight? Those aren't exactly Calvin Klein's.
In 10 years, I see Golota in a Chicago bar, mumbling how great he never became, but he's still a good guy.

    Marcin -

I don't know why you say he's one dimensional. Also, I don't know what happened in the TOS fight, but he's still young and most of the greats have lost some fights along the way - not that I'm calling hima "great", but I think he has the potential. Time will tell.

I hope Andrew doesn't walk in there stone cold and daydreaming about some girl he used to know in Warsaw and get himself KO'd in rd. 1 again!

    Seldom

Sorry I guess TKO is the proper term, but still TOS is not a good guy to get TKO'ed by. Mollo throw wide looping power shots, and while that does pose an incredible threat, his skill level is no where near the great golota, who mentally may never have had it but his skill has never been in question. Also, Golota and his camp know EXACTLY what they are doing more than ever with this fight knowing he is so quick to start. They have prepared for this its just about Golota executing the plan, esp first 2-3 rounds

Marcin - I couldn't agree with you more about Andrew's skills. I still haven't gotten over how he DELIBERATELY lost those two fights against Bowe, who he turned into a virtual vegetable by his beating - and Bowe was considered the best heavy in the world at the time. Those weren't the only two fights he deliberately lost either, I think.

Ah a pain shared by all the members of the express. Its just something you have to look past, esp for current fights, and just hope that he has mentally matured with age, which i think he has. i think tonight will really tell because no one has had the explosive power of mollo since brewster. I just hope he has mastered the clinch when in trouble and can do well the first few rounds. Once he starts bobbin and weavin and movin that head we know we have awoken the beast that is enndruuuuu
