Remember when he was the next big thing? :?

Before the current crop like Froch Ward and Dirrell got going he was the guy to beat Calzaghe. He was big, strong, great left hook...what went wrong? The illness excuse for the Pantera fight was legit (maybe...?)...after that he never seemed the same.

Does he have another run in him?

The super six try to built him up like he was something special vs ward but really he is a b- c+ fighter. Lay on the ropes and got schooled. Johnson exposed him more

Could care less if i ever see him fight again in my life time. Maybe a good up and comer knocking his ass out would be okay.

Pavlike vs green. There a decend undercard fight. But pavlik woulf want 2 mil for thay lol

Used to hate the guy, then I started to feel sorry for him and somewhat like him before the Ward fight, then well...

He had his big chance and he blew it. No one can say he never got a shot. It happens, they can't all be great.

LOL!! No doubt about that! Allan Green and greatness don't belong in the same sentence..even with "lack"

He was a decent fighter, but if by falling short you mean he was miles and miles away from greatness...then yes, I agree. Decent fighter, but he was never even a top 5 fighter in his own division. Forget about being considered a great fighter. No top level wins and he came up way short in his 3 biggest fights. Not even close to greatness.

Allen Green is the most mentally weak fighter I've ever witnessed. He has the physical tools to give anyone a problem, but has no mental fortitude.
