Dudes Built like a cross between Wladimir and lennox. 6 foot 5 world silver medalist lost by 1 point ready to make some noise up in here!!
I like the look of him too, in the final he went in the trenches and fought well. Got very good power too. Hope his chin is good enough though as in the final he good stopped in his tracks by big shots, he coudnt walk through them. All-in-all though, think he will be very good. He is only 21 too!!!!
The next superstar of heavyweight boxing. He'll win the gold next year in london - it was only his second major tournement at the worlds which is the hardest tourney amateur boxing - and he was unlucky to lose in the final. He just keeps getting better so very fast it's incredible!
He did to beat the experience Cammarelle (who I believe is having quite a bit of back trouble) and making it close with Majidov. Medalling at such a prestigious tournament is always quite an achievement, it doesn't necessarily mean it will cross over to professional success though. He kind of got a by with Pfeier not being able to compete, who would have a been a tough fight had he been fit.
Like I said in another thread, this guy has only been boxing for 2 years...****ing great achievement so far.
