It's gonna be bad, but that's probably for the best. We talked last week about not inviting friends over for this one, precisely because it could be a stinker or have an unsatisfactory ending.

Thank God for Linares/Demarco. That saved the card in my eyes.

I regret missing the Linares /Demarco fight but don't regret not buyIng this PPV ..How could they even have thought that this would have sold when Hopkins Calzaghe wasn't on PPV :huh

I would be skeptical of it being even half that...

I guess HBO had no choice. They ran out of money but were contractually obligated to put it on the air, so they made it a PPV to recoup some of the investment. I'm sure it lost money (and some future PPV buyers), though.

This fight had no business on ppv anyway, hopefully this **** did bad numbers.

I know I paid for it. I was at work and came home during the Linares-
Demarco fight (Which I called by the way) and enjoyed that. Was ready to see the fight and I was frustrated at what happened. Can't say I was that surprised though. By the way, Hopkins-Calzaghe was on Pay-Per-View...

I was only expecting like about 500,00 buys, with the ending I'm pretty sure 75% of those buys were refunded........
