well Martinez is indeed a harder fight for floyd than pac due to his size anyways,,

so hmm, fight pac where low risk/high reward (according to them)

or.. fight martinez high risk/low reward

Martinez quickly rematched Paul and beat him impressively without the help of an ATG trainer in his corner. emmanuel had roach, waited years to refight Juan, and lost the rematch in most eyes.

Who cares? If Martinez is a harder fighter anyway, and will bring less money for Floyd, why would he care about Pacquiao taking the tests??

its a good fight, if it was happening. if by some chance floyd makes a liar out of me and gets brave enough to fight sergio, i will give him props for taking a real challenge when it is truly a real challenge.

What are the latest news about this fight?

This will be the first ever Floyd fight I will want to see live. All the rest just seemed too one-sided from the get go. For instance the last one was completely ridiculous the spin they put on that.

I find khan, and package interesting for Floyd. and Sergio hugely interesting. The rest not.

If this is true -- and I sure hope so -- all credit to Mayweather for stepping up and upping the ante' for a Pac fight which, I'm convinced Arum is the biggest obstacle.

I am a Pacquiao fan. Big time.

Damn good fight if it happens. However, I have a real hard time believing that team Mayweather would seriously pursue this fight without pushing hard for the Pacquiao fight first. The Pacquiao fight makes so much more sense. It's a bigger fight, it does more for Mayweather's legacy, and it would bring Mayweather more satisfaction.

As one of them members in their avatars have it, a pill bottle called instant-bum.

Thats exactly what happens to all floyd opponents.

Even people pick Floyd to lose then say the guy was shot. Etc. So stupid.

Martinez is the tougher fact, simple as that. Floyd will be 35 by the time he fights again, so its no longer him picking on old guys when at 35, one would consider that old in boxing.

35 is old as ****. It even gets me nervous some especially for a guy who's been doing this since a toddler.

You make a good point. If Floyd does fight Martinez, I think it proves pac doesn't want the fight after all. No one really knows what goes on in negotiations, however, I started thinking there was some truth that Floyd was scared of losing. This fight proves Floyd is still willing to take a challenge. It's possible pac is the one avoiding a fight with Floyd. That's if Floyd agrees to fight Martinez.

Would be hilarious if that fight ended up not happening at all. Calm the **** down people.
It's like getting excited over a job that you're not even sure if you're gonna get it at all.
