    It's not about toughness, it's about doing the sport and fans a favor by continuing the fight despite how much pain Hopkins was (and I doubt he was in serious pain). It was about Hopkins quitting, he quit, he didn't want to continue even though he could have. He's a con man and the sad thing is, it dirties up Dawson's career when he did nothing wrong.

    Those are exellent points you make.

    No doubt Hopkins went out of his way to sell that he was injured.
    It would have been more believable if he'd have gotten up and tried to stretch out or move the shoulder around only to find it pained him to do so.

    .....but like you said, he's lying their like a second rate actor trying to sell his shoulder is dislocated.:!:

    Dawson fouled, played dirty and rough which hurt Hopkins. Then gets the title by TKO.

    What a joke! I hope this mistake is overturned for the sake of boxing.

    Hopkins is 50 years old and competing at the top of the sport. Most of you couldn't make a highschool varsity team in your prime.

    For me it was a clear illegal move by Dawson yet there is all these self righteous Hopkins haters trying to see it for something that it's not, it was a legal move in the wwe or mma but not in boxing it should have been ruled a no contest.
