Why are people acting like Cotto vs.Margritio is a significant fight?

    It's a meaningless fight. Margo is shot and Cotto is past it by a little.

    Its not that important but its very interesting with the back stories and PR vs Mexico and these guys really dont like each other. Also idk why people act like cotto isnt important anymore. His only non questionable loss was to Pac the widely recognized p4p King and if cotto beats margo convincingly (although margo is a disgrace) he has legit options @ 154 or 160 like williams, canelo, Martinez etc.

    I would love to see those fights especially Pwill vs Cotto. Been waiting for that one for years.

    It means something to Cotto. The last time he had a "personal" fight, like this one, he KO Kelson Pinto the fuk out. Which makes it even more exciting, since Cotto is not known for taking fights personally ... and this one here is DEFINITELY personal.

    It's an exciting rematch grudge match title fight between two of boxing's biggest stars in front of a packed Madison Square Garden crowd with the Mexico/PR rivalry mixed in.

    How is it not significant, hater?

    Maybe you should quit watching boxing except for when Pac or May fights, ****in' novice.

    Topic start should just watch ping pong instead.

    If you don't care about this fight, you're not a fan of boxing. The last 2 big events has left a bitter taste in everyone's mouths. Now we have 2 high-level fighters coming to fight and it's not significant? Such whiny little bitches.

    Cuz it ain't. Maybe the first fight was ok, but this fight means nothing UNLESS it's a fight to meet Mayweather or maybe, just maybe, Martinez. Cuz I know for sure I don't want to see a Pac-Man vs. any of those dudes again!

    Other than that this fight ain't worth **** to watch!
