Exactly the same thing surprised me, I literally could not believe that was the same man that fought Ajisafe and McKenzie. Gave him 3 of the first four as well. Tony surprised me greatly and as long as he can keep that intensity in all future fights there is no reason he cannot attain his goals and become a world class fighter, he has now proved himself to be one of the best in Europe, which I must confess I never saw him as. He has converted me, keep it going Tony, you should be hugely proud of yourself and your team.
Interesting thing I've only just found out is that Nadjib Mohammedi, the guy Cleverly got handed the interim WBO belt against and struggled to beat, was stopped in 2 rounds last week by Dmitry Sukhostsky who should probably soon be the mandatory challenger. Could get interesting.
i think he was actually handed the world title after fwank protested to the wbo about braehmer and then kuziemski was his first defence if i recall correctly?
Who has ever said Clev is a better pure boxer? He's atrocious, and much more of an 'offensive engine' type of guy IMO.
I hope bellew doesnt start coming out with that hand trouble shite. he was the one screaming "no excuses after the fight" and now we start hearing about hand issues
btw did farnell get his prediction spot on? i cant remember if he predicted clev by stoppage or points?
He hasnt made an excuse......"He never mentioned his broken right hand, which went in about round five. He never said a word because David Haye's toe excuse is still raw". Quote from Buncey.
I thought I'd quote that for you mate cos remember you're on Lirva's ignore list so he won't see it otherwise . I thought Lirva had gone quiet around the time of this fight, hoped we might possibly have got rid of him. Ah well....
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kteXs5-TydM[/ame] He's banging his hands together in the post fight press confrence. Why would he do that with a broken hand?
