Great show, but the guy looks more like DiCaprio than Dempsey.

I had a tough time getting into during the first half of season one. Actually gave up and stopped watching around the 4th episode, but I picked it up again and got hooked. It starts improving mid-way through season one. This season is altogether better than the last so far.

I think he looks alright for the part. Not sure about his acting, though.

    I agree.

The show is great though, although I havent seen any of the second season yet.

Love the WW1 vet with the mask.

I believe Abe Attell was also referenced in the show although not so favourably.

    Damn DiCaprio! :fire

Hmm. I completely missed that. There's a lot of things I miss until I see the shows a second time, though.

I knew from the first, like it was for me and Deadwood, I would like it if I stayed with it, but I was going to have to warm up slowly to the way it's done and give the characters time. I wasn't disappointed. By the end of last season, which is how long it took, I got very into it. I think it's very high quality. Up there with the best HBO programs.

The Tin Man. :nod Destined to have a cult following before long, if he lasts.
I don't really notice you lads in the lounge section, but IntentionalButt has a pimpworthy talk thread for the whole series, if interested, in the lounge. So, I pimp it: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=255123

It is up to date with the current shows, so beware of spoilers if you go.

Good episode.. There's actually quite a few famous real life personalities that appear on that series, including the comedian and singer Eddie Canter... I love this song and scene from season one...
