Mayweather wins at any weight. De La Hoya even at 140 possibily his best weight dose not have any significant advantages over Mayweather. While he is taller they have about the same reach. While the split decision in their real fight is miss leading. In reality Mayweather was clearly the better man in that fight. A split verdict or at least close score cards could be repensitive of what goes down in the ring at 140.
Oscar would of still lost then. He did have speed and power, but so did Floyd with a much better defense. Floyd always dominated then and now, so it's hard to bet against him, with who ever he's match up with in the lower weight classes.
he didn't dominate Castillo by a long shot, nor Augustus and DeMarcus Corley hurt him pretty bad at 140. If you think it's a guaranteed lock that he beats Oscar at 140 you're out of your mind.
If you did not notice, *****s have been out of their mind for a long time already. In fantasy match-up, Gayweather always KO his opponents. You did not get the memo?
Fantasy matchups are fun because you can use your arguments and great understanding of boxing to describe how you feel so and so fighter would do but in this case, you cant argue definitively who would do better and who would fall victim.
@widdow-maker Actually preferred Tszyu's performance against Gonzalez rather than DLHs. Even Gonzalez said he'd never been hit so hard after the Tszyu fight. Brutal. That Tszyu vs 140 DLH would have been fantastic.
Barely my ass you ignorant mother****er. PBF won that fight going away and it should have been a UD. The guy who scored it for Oscar gave Oscar the 10th round a round in which PBF clearly won that right there should tell you everything to know about his bull**** card. The fact is PBF would always beat Oscar especailly at 140 too much speed too much lateral movement and ring generalship. PBF beat Oscar at a weight he has no business at and at 140 he beats his ass again. PBF > Oscar and proved already in the ring.:deal
No he wouldn't have you Oscarsexual. Oscar was always a one handed fighter and would struggle a fighter the caliber of PBF. Oscar is also the loser of all big fights and this one wold be no different. Oscar isn't in PBF's class period. PBF outboxes Oscars to a UD win.
old dela hoya managed a SD against Floyd,so probably a prime dela hoya will do better,UD or late TKO/KO perhaps.
Oscar De la Chicken was a mediocre fighter who made millions for nothing. Look who he beat for his first world title Jimmy Bradahl who the **** is Jimmy Bradahl
When will people like you realize that the score was bogus? It's people like you that makes me wonder if you ever saw the fight or simply go to boxing record and look fighters up.:-( PBF won that fight by 8-4 or 9-3 going away it wasn't a SD it should have been UD. People love to use that SD **** to try and justify that Oscar beats PBF at any point in their careers. When really it couldn't be further from the truth.
ive seen the fight *****..oscar was active first half of the fight, uses his jab, then he gassed out...i do agree floyd wins that one, but was close..so what if judges scores it a SD?everytime you read sumtin not going floyds way you pop up defendin ****..are you on his payroll?:hi:
