Before the groves fight I would have definitely said degale as no one had really troubled him but , he has shown frailties in his last two fights and I think they both have a leaky defense and not devastating power so I see them struggling on the world stage. I'm new to this site and have to say I love it, the majority of people on here give great insight and non bias opinion and none of my mates follow boxing so it's good to have somewhere to talk boxing. Ps. Let me know if you think this thread is **** and I will try to up my game
I think Degale is the better fighter overall and i think he will go the furthest but i think Groves will always beat Degale as he just knows what to do to beat him. Groves will always get more motiveated for a bout with Degale and i think George has the likeability factor to fans but Degale i think has the bigger chance of going on to world honours.
Excellent reply I would have to say I agree with you on all points but still maintain both will struggle against the best super midlle is a very strong div atm
This is the most ******ed post I've seen in a while. So, despite losing to Groves and nearly getting stopped by a feather-fisted journeyman, DeGale is "better overall"? You people are dumb as ****ing posts. Groves knows how to beat DeGale because He. Is. Better. Simple fact. Groves had a scare against a hard-punching pressure fighter. DeGale got put on ***** street by a light-hitting boxer who got smashed out of there in three rounds by the woefully average Curtis Stevens. Your boy is average and a complete **** to boot. Get over it.
It was 50/50 between them for me all the way up to their fight, I picked Degale to win but was overjoyed when he lost, Degale looked poor against Groves and showed a lot of flaws against Wilczewski, he didn't battle back as good as Groves did against Anderson either so I think Groves has him beat in both the technical and heart areas. Looking forward to see if Groves can do a better job on Smith than Degale did.
I like to think I'm a realist. And in the face of some of the blindest, most ill-deserved hype I've witnessed on here, reality is scarce and sorely needed. Hopefully I make people laugh with my unrestrained bile.
James DeGale is more talented, and that will tell sooner or later. I actually scored the Groves fight in his favour, too.
I know you did. You're one of the "****ing posts" I'm referring to. How you advocate this non-existent talent in the face of all evidence to the contrary is beyond me.
