On how to beat Mayweather I disagree with Norris. He's persscibing the sme agresive staagaty that everyone uses and there is a reason it never works. It Playes into Mayweather's advantages as a counterpuncher. I'm not saying that there is a formula/blue print to beat Mayweather, but prusure is no it. As for a Mayweather/Pacquiao match I am in agreement with Norris.
Norris doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. That's about as generic as anything you'd read on the General Forum.
Norris believing that Mayweather and Pacquiao are soft and would not match up with his era is misguided. I just can't see, as good as they were, Norris, Brown, Blocker, Curry, or Taylor, defeating either Mayweather or Pacquiao.
I'd be curious as to who he actually thinks would beat them ? Its not that far of a strech ...Diffrent breed of fighters back then ..
People forget how dominate Terry was in his prime alot of guys were beaten before they even got into the ring with him yes he got blown out by Jullian Jackson but so did alot of guys not to mention he came back from that and established a hall of fame career and to be fair although he was never "Iron Jawed" his chin really didn't start to go bad until after the first Brown fight I think he would have beat them both if it was the Norris of 90-93
Every older fighter who was champ during their time is going to say that they would have beaten today's fighters. What else would they say? "Nah, I'd get my ass whooped":roll:
Apparently he thought Ortiz would beat Mayweather I agree with what he said about the Pac fight though.
