Cleverly by a round or two and he was champ. To his credit Tony Bellew performed great and had plenty of moments. But, I have to say, the Robin Reid versus Joe Calzaghe fight was much much closer! :smooch

I wouldn't like to see an instant rematch. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks it's a really weak championship fight. I'd like to see Cleverly get the dream fight he was looking for against Bernard Hopkins. Hopkins definently has motive to take it as it seems that Dawson doesent want a rematch and Hopkins taking Clev's title would at least let him continue making history. Clev already says how much he wants the fight with Calzaghe's backing, so it could easily be made.

I'd imagine that Hopkins would take the title, sending Clev down the ranks a little bit. This is when the rematch should happen in my opinion. Both still have a lot to do before being legitimate title condenders to me, wether Cleverly has the title or not, so putting him into the deep end will either prove me wrong, or put him into his correct place.
