Bumdine Alvarez rd by rd

thought mundine got easy 9-10 rounds victory ... best ive seen mundine box 4 a while imo...did he make alvearz look slow? or was alveaz just a slow southy who had no zapp?

 

Alvarez is the slowrst jnr middle i have ever seen and the worst mexican to ever fight on tv. He is useless.

I wouldnt be surprised if choc wasnt 100% for that fight ( besides weight issues).

He sounded like he had a head cold/ flu in his interview and imo....i thought he looked very weak ( not too surprising there). His corner asking him as early as rd 1 " are you ok choc, how you feeling?" just strengthened my belief.

Barry and andy saying its the best he has looked is rubbish. Choc rarely throws combinations anymore, its 1's and 2's. He still hs a jab though, thats still working for him.

Barry did get one thing right......loporto would have beaten that mexican imposter.

 

Slow as a statue Jet, particularly for a light middleweight.

Funny thing is Lopez, when he fought Trout, looked nearly as slow as Alvarez.

Imagine what Tommy Hearns would have done to Alvarez. OMFG!

I have no doubt Charkey Ramon and Rocky Mattioli would both have absolutely destroyed him too.

 

so now you guys are claiming Alvarez was sht all along? hahaha ill admit he was never going to win and is not very good compared to Mundine, anyone could have seen that by watching his recent fights. Now he is Trouts Mandatory and he has Trout exactly where he wants him, it will go to purse bid, Trout wont win it and Mundine will get to fight him for a fraction of the price Trouts camp demanded minus the optional fights they wanted him to sign to.

 

We did check out the video you posted...

....and then we watched the fight, and guess what?

We weren't impressed by Alvarez. Nor would have been anyone who saw the fight.

I never said the Mexican was sht. I knew he wouldnt win just as some others did going by his recent fight, watch Mundines last preformance and watch the Mexicans its simple really. Then again some people still rekon the mexican was going to knockout Mundine, not sure whats happen to those guys today, most likely still nursing a headach from lastnights drinking session! :yep

 

I didn't say he was **** either. But he did look slow in the video and also in last nights fight.

 

Compare Danny green to Joy Jones JNR and Danny is as slow as a wet fart, yet he knocked out RJJ! hows that work, slow fighters should be sht right? slow fighters should get no WT shots EVER right?

a fast fighter MAKES his opponent look slow because of the comparision in hand speed. Doesnt mean sht in boxing , just watch Green vs RJJ fight and tell me otherwise lol

When an aswin cabuy 4 rd fight is better than the main event, you know it sucks royally.

Cabuy would have beat alvarez last night.

And i bet saul alvarez dyed his hair red and painted freckles on himself just so people wouldnt think him and rigoberto are brothers.

The fact that a no talent like Alvarez is even in line to challenge for a belt is a sad indictment on boxing today.

The likes of Cotto or Angulo would have destroyed Alvarez in 4 rounds. To shine against a plodder like him is nothing to get excited about!

 

Alvarez isn't even in the top 20 jr middles, if Mundine wants to take on all comers then why don't we hear him screaming the name Miguel Angel Cotto? I'll tell you why, because Mundine would get knocked out in less than 3 rounds against Cotto and that is game over for the man! Maybe Mundine could move up to 160lb and scream out the name Sergio Gabriel Martinez? Same result!
