I hate the fact that is about the quanity of the picks more than it is about the quality of the picks. For example some1 who whoul've picked Duglas to beat Tyson has 1 point same as the guy who whould've picked Klitschko to beat Mormeck.
I thought Antonio DeMarco has a very good chance against Jorge Linares, but I didn't picked him because I saw all the picks were on Linares and I didn't knew the fighters that good. If there was something more for the *high risk* or *medium risk* fight maybe I would've picked DeMarco.
My goal is to remain undefeated for as long as I could since I didn't had any chance of winning or even making top10.
So it sucks to think that that one is gonna be on top because he started early.
To make an analogy a guy like Pascal with 26 wins could never reach a guy like Hopkins with 52 wins. NEVER.

This happens very often. But that's when you take a chance and if you play your cards right you win. Those wins are what seperates you from the crowd.

When Chilemba fought Vlasov I was almost certain that Chilemba was gonna win, but guessed Vlasov because almost everyone picked Vlasov.. Chilemba won and I hated my self for a week.

    I understand that.
But there are sooo many things that can influence the rankings if you start with a new method. Look at this year, it started with many upsets and the top 10 have most losses from the first 5 months. If I had started my first picks after that I would have been just outside the top 20 right now with 121-22.

So if you pick all the fights and pick right, you can still end up pretty high in the ranks. You have little chance to become #1 of course, but it's not like you don't stand a chance at all.
Maybe we have to count losses double or something like that, that might shake things up a bit.

Kirk has done a great job with this leauge "why try to fix something that is not broken"
the way it is now is fair, we don't need to turn this in a cherry picking leauge.
