Is Sven Ottke HOF worthy?

    Ottke was a disgrace.. On paper, yes he may be a hall of famer..
    But he shouldt get in.. Payed refs, robberies, never left his home turf.
    He made a complete mockery of the sport.. If there was a hall of shame, then Ottke should be a first ballot...

    HOF.....absolutely, although his robbery over Johnson should be overturned and his 0 erased, but he had a decent run there, but retired with unfinished business, namely, Calslappy, BHOP, and RJJ. Probably shoulda fought Toney as well.

    I don't think Sven Ottke had the talent to deserve a place in Canastota. People complained about Tszyu getting in and he had obvious elite level talent and was rated as such for most of his career. And Tszyu actually cleaned out his division, unlike Ottke who wouldn't fight fellow champs Calzaghe or Kessler, or even Lacy. Wouldn't even fight Beyer, which would've been easy to make as both fought out of Germany.

    His resume "on paper" is good [get to that later], but no better than say Bute's today, and Bute for sure wouldn't be seen as HoF worthy if he retires now. The only reason this is being brought up is because of Otkke's undefeated record, and he was only undefeated due to some disgraceful robberies and hometown decisions fighting only out of Germany. He was a good fighter, just not great enough to be in the HoF, nor did he do anything special for the sport like Gatti, Stallone to deserve a place based on that.

    im sorry but Ottke - Reid was deffinetly one of the worst peices of boxing officiating ive ever seen.
